Choose a name for the audience
A New Zealand namespace that may suit a Māori-language or community-facing project. A registration does not by itself establish cultural representation, authority or endorsement.
Namespace and registration rules
InternetNZ Rules version 3.2 lists .maori.nz as an unmoderated namespace beneath .nz, rather than a separate top-level domain. Applicants must be identifiable individuals over 18 or lawfully constituted entities. Identity evidence can be requested; reserved-name and other .nz obligations continue to apply.
Read both annual amounts
Compare the first-year registration with the separate annual renewal in the stated native currency. Confirm tax, premium classification, required services and availability for the exact spelling in the merchant basket. Transfer and restoration charges are different transactions. A coupon only applies when its stated scope covers the namespace and applicant.
Keep the registration useful
Test whether people can repeat and type the complete address. For a shared project, document holder details, DNS access and responsibility for renewal. Use an independent recovery address and verify expiry after payment. Long-term views are annual-pay estimates at saved renewal rates, not guaranteed future prices.

.maori.nz coupon and pricing questions
Do .maori.nz coupons apply at every company?
No. Each code has its own merchant, extension, customer and expiry conditions. Only explicitly scoped offers appear in the extension coupon section. Confirm acceptance in the merchant basket before paying.
Why can the .maori.nz renewal price be higher?
An introductory registration offer can apply only to the first year. Compare the annual renewal and any mandatory charges separately; the cheapest first year may not be the cheapest long-term option.
Are the 2-, 5- and 10-year costs guaranteed?
No. These are estimates of repeated annual payments using the recorded first-year and renewal prices from the same company. Future prices, taxes and optional services can change. Missing renewal prices stay unknown.
