InternetNZ Rules version 3.2 lists .ac.nz as unmoderated beneath .nz. It is a third-level registration namespace, not a separate top-level domain. Applicants must be identifiable individuals over 18 or lawfully constituted entities; identity verification may be requested. Reserved names and the other .nz rules still apply.
