When to consider .com.tw
A Taiwan-facing commercial namespace that can suit a registered business. Compare the full address with .tw, and verify that the applicant fits the business category.
Registration requirements
TWNIC describes com.tw eligibility for legally registered companies, firms, limited partnerships, other profit-making organizations and qualifying registered professionals. It also recognizes foreign companies and organizations formed under their home-country law. This is different from treating the category as unrestricted individual registration.
.com.tw is a namespace beneath .tw, not a separate top-level domain. A coupon does not waive its registration rules.
Read the actual quote
Check the exact registration term, native currency, recurring renewal, tax and any required contact service. Transfer and restoration charges are separate transactions. Missing prices remain unquoted; a registry tariff is not every registrar’s retail price.
Long-term cost and alternatives
The 2-, 5- and 10-year views are annual-pay estimates at recorded renewal rates. They do not guarantee later rates or replace an upfront multi-year offer. Compare .tw, .com and other endings if the name is unavailable or the applicant does not qualify.
Can a foreign business consider .com.tw?
TWNIC includes qualifying foreign registered companies and organizations in its com.tw criteria. Confirm what evidence your registrar requires and keep the registration in the intended business’s control.
Support and account problems
Contact the registrar for billing, renewal, DNS and transfers. Use the registry’s policy channel for namespace questions. Keep registration and recovery access under the intended holder’s control.

.com.tw coupon and pricing questions
Do .com.tw coupons apply at every company?
No. Each code has its own merchant, extension, customer and expiry conditions. Only explicitly scoped offers appear in the extension coupon section. Confirm acceptance in the merchant basket before paying.
Why can the .com.tw renewal price be higher?
An introductory registration offer can apply only to the first year. Compare the annual renewal and any mandatory charges separately; the cheapest first year may not be the cheapest long-term option.
Are the 2-, 5- and 10-year costs guaranteed?
No. These are estimates of repeated annual payments using the recorded first-year and renewal prices from the same company. Future prices, taxes and optional services can change. Missing renewal prices stay unknown.
For registration rules, use the official registry contact and check the registrar’s eligibility requirements.
