When to consider .com.ar
A commercial or professional address for an Argentina-facing project. Budget for identity validation as well as the registration itself.
Registration requirements
NIC Argentina uses a validated account workflow. Local applicants use CUIT/CUIL and the required fiscal credentials; non-residents have a separate validation and login route. Lack of an Argentine tax ID is not by itself proof that a non-resident cannot register.
.com.ar is a namespace beneath .ar, not a separate top-level domain. Confirm the exact spelling and intended registrant before payment.
Compare registration, renewal and offers
Compare like-for-like terms and the merchant’s native currency. The first-year registration, recurring renewal and restoration charges are different transactions. A country registry tariff is not automatically the price charged by a retail registrar. Missing or unverified amounts remain unquoted.
Long-term ownership and alternatives
The 2-, 5- and 10-year views estimate annual payment at saved renewal rates; they cannot guarantee later rates. If your preferred name is unavailable or you do not qualify, compare .ar, .com or other endings. A different ending does not remove trademark conflicts.
Can a non-resident apply for .com.ar?
NIC Argentina provides a non-resident validation route. Follow its current documentation and account process; do not assume an intermediary automatically places the domain in your own account.
Where to get help
Contact the registrar for billing, DNS, renewal, transfers and account recovery. Use the registry source below for namespace policy. A coupon changes only the eligible charge; it does not waive registration requirements.

.com.ar coupon and pricing questions
Do .com.ar coupons apply at every company?
No. Each code has its own merchant, extension, customer and expiry conditions. Only explicitly scoped offers appear in the extension coupon section. Confirm acceptance in the merchant basket before paying.
Why can the .com.ar renewal price be higher?
An introductory registration offer can apply only to the first year. Compare the annual renewal and any mandatory charges separately; the cheapest first year may not be the cheapest long-term option.
Are the 2-, 5- and 10-year costs guaranteed?
No. These are estimates of repeated annual payments using the recorded first-year and renewal prices from the same company. Future prices, taxes and optional services can change. Missing renewal prices stay unknown.
For registration rules, use the official registry contact and check the registrar’s eligibility requirements.
